Emergency, First Aid & Rescue
Emergency, First Aid & Rescue covers the equipment and supplies used in the critical minutes after an incident to save lives and limit harm. The category has two tracks: First Aid Stations and consumables for treating common workplace injuries on the spot, and Confined Space & Rescue equipment for scenarios that require technical rescue — confined-space entries and fall events, for example. It is used across manufacturing plants, construction sites, oil and gas platforms, warehouses, laboratories, hospitals, hotels, and schools, and is required by occupational safety and health regulations in many facilities, depending on jurisdiction, hazards, and activities.

Overview
Successful response to an industrial incident is driven by preparation and the readiness of equipment on site. This category brings together the tools that response teams and workplace first-aiders need to deliver initial care, move casualties, and rescue workers from hazardous environments in the shortest possible time.
What It Includes
First Aid Stations covers integrated first-aid cabinets and stations, portable first-aid kits, Automated External Defibrillators (AED), equipment for thermal and eye injuries, dressings and bleeding-control supplies, and emergency eyewash and shower stations. Confined Space & Rescue covers rescue tripods and winches, confined-space ventilation equipment (blowers and ducting), rigid and basket rescue stretchers, rescue harnesses and systems for height, and in-space communication devices.
Applications
Deployed across industrial facilities and large office buildings, welding and maintenance work, tank, vessel and tunnel entries, mining and drilling, tower and mast work, elevator and ladder servicing, live-electrical work, and work platforms and scaffolding.
How to Select
First-aid stations are sized against headcount, industrial hazards present, and distance to medical facilities. Confined-space equipment is selected against the entry type (vertical or horizontal), space depth, likely atmospheres or liquids, and the number of workers inside. Equipment must be accessible in an emergency and the team trained to use it under pressure.
Standards Note
Solutions align with ANSI/ISEA (Z308.1 for first-aid kit contents, Z358.1 for emergency eyewash and showers), OSHA 1910.146 for permit-required confined space entry, and AHA/ERC guidelines for AED equipment. Requirements vary by jurisdiction and facility; always consult the local code and product data before selection.
