Drum Containment Trays

Drum Containment Trays are shallow sealed basins that receive drums individually or in small counts, capturing any point-source leak during handling or manual dispensing. They differ from containment pallets by their smaller size and simpler floor design without a raised grated top. Suited to laboratories, dispensing stations, and small manufacturing facilities.

About this category

Drum trays address a simple localized containment need: a lower protection level at reduced cost and footprint. The design: a shallow basin sized for one or two drums, with short side walls rising above the floor, molded from chemically resistant plastic and equipped with drum-locating ridges that prevent slip. Types: single-drum trays, dual-drum trays, trays with an optional top grating to lift the drum above the captured liquid, and trays with a side drain for emptying. Materials: PE/HDPE (most common, light and resistant) and coated steel for heavier use. Uses: small chemical laboratories, hand-dispensing fill stations, small production lines, small pharmaceutical facilities, and oil stations under benches. A substantive difference from pallets: trays are smaller and lower cost but hold fewer drums and do not support forklift handling as efficiently. Containment capacity and chemical resistance are chosen in line with the drum used and dispensing requirements from the product documentation, with optional accessories such as grating selected per task.
