Disposable Coveralls
Disposable Coveralls are used once to protect regular clothing from paint, dust, or light contaminants. They differ from reusable chemical coveralls by being inexpensive and offering limited protection. Materials: polypropylene including SMS (most common) and Tyvek. Essential for work in clean environments or when handling materials that would stain clothing.

About this category
Disposable coveralls serve two complementary purposes: protect the worker from paint or dust staining and protect the clean environment from worker-clothing contamination. Materials differ substantially: economy polypropylene (SMS - spunbond-meltblown-spunbond) for larger particles and paint, Tyvek (flash-spun polyethylene) for light spray and particulates, and PP+PE-laminated models for limited chemical resistance. Design: full coverall with hood and ankles, front zip, elasticated cuffs, and elasticated ankles. Classes: Type 5 (solid particulates), Type 6 (light spray). Available in S to XXXL, with integrated boot or without, with mesh ventilation panels or fully sealed. Fabric weight varies: 40-60 gsm for general use, 70+ gsm for tougher applications. Colors: white (most common, easy visual contamination check), blue (industry-specific standard), orange (team identification; not EN ISO 20471 high-visibility). Applications: spray painting, asbestos abatement (with additional PPE), pharmaceutical production, industrial-site cleaning, chemical-spill response, and electronics manufacture. A technical note: disposable coveralls do not protect against hazardous or high-concentration chemicals; those need reusable Type 3/4 suits. Specifications follow EN ISO 13982-1 (Type 5) and EN 13034 (Type 6).
