Forklift Forks
Forklift forks are the structural load-bearing arms that carry loads from below on a forklift truck, hooked onto the carriage through a defined mounting class. They are the primary or replacement forks, unlike fork extensions that slide over them or clamp and drum attachments. Selection is based on carriage mounting class (e.g. Class II or III), fork length and cross-section, and documented capacity checked against the forklift's own rated capacity.

About this category
Forklift forks are the primary structural load-bearing components that carry loads on forklift trucks; they attach to the carriage through a mounting interface following a defined class. Models differ in effective fork length, width, thickness, longitudinal profile and mounting-interface class (such as Class I, II, III, IV or other interfaces per the applicable classification system). A single class should not be assumed across the category and is defined in the product's and forklift's documentation. Models differ in material specification and heat treatment depending on design; a single treatment should not be assumed across the category. Documented fork rated capacity varies by model, and compatibility between fork capacity and the complete forklift's rated capacity must be verified against both manufacturers' documentation: fork capacity alone does not substitute for the complete system capacity, which depends on load center, mounting geometry and the forklift's final capacity rating. This category differs from fork extensions that fit over existing forks, forklift clamp attachments and drum handling attachments. Industrial buyers select forklift fork models based on the target forklift's carriage class, required length, documented capacity and the combined specifications of the product and the forklift.
