Overview

The FOP™ FOP-H100 is a non-vented industrial safety helmet that protects your head against small falling objects, with a High-Density Polyethylene (HDPE) shell and a short brim, tested to EN 397:2012+A1:2012.

Head protection: the HDPE shell is tested for shock absorption, penetration resistance and flame resistance to EN 397:2012+A1:2012.
Additional protection: the non-vented shell meets the EN 397 options for use at -30 °C, electrical insulation at 440 Vac, lateral deformation (LD) and molten metal.
Fit and suspension: choose a 4-point pinlock or a 4-point ratchet harness, both with an HDPE headband and a polyester cradle, and add size-reducing comfort pads for smaller heads.
Comfort and hygiene: the replaceable sweatband comes in leather or PVC-coated foam, and the helmet weighs 335 g with pinlock suspension.
Confined work and visibility: the helmet is certified for wear with the harness rotated 180°, the short brim keeps your upward view clear, and reflective stripes are available as an option.
Accessory platform: the helmet takes a 2-point chinstrap, integrated V9-type eyewear, a visor adaptor for face shields and visors, helmet-mounted earmuffs and a rain shield.
Colours and sizes: available in white, yellow, blue, red, green and orange, with your company logo printed on the front, sides or rear as an option; the pinlock harness fits head sizes 54–62 cm and the ratchet harness 53–62 cm.

Is the FOP-H100 a vented helmet?

No. The FOP-H100 is the non-vented configuration, and its electrical insulation and molten metal protection apply to this non-vented model.

What electrical protection does it give me?

It meets the EN 397:2012+A1:2012 optional requirement for electrical insulation at 440 Vac.

Which suspension should I choose, and what head sizes does it fit?

The 4-point pinlock harness fits head sizes 54–62 cm and the 4-point ratchet harness fits 53–62 cm. Each comes with a plastic or a leather sweatband, and size-reducing comfort pads are available for smaller heads.

At what temperatures can I use and store it?

You can use the helmet from -30 °C to +50 °C. Store it at +3 °C to +40 °C with humidity below 85%.

When should I replace the helmet?

Keep the helmet in its original condition, and replace it after a severe impact or once its service life is exceeded. The maximum recommended product life is up to 5 years from the date of manufacture.
